Hardware Camp

OVerVIEW

Our Hardware Robotics Camp provides an exciting hands-on experience, where students explore the essential components and principles behind robotics design and assembly. From building circuits to integrating sensors, this camp focuses on the physical aspects of robotics and equips participants with practical skills to create functional robots.

STudents Will LEarn

  • Discover Robotics Components: Gain knowledge of key hardware elements, such as motors, servos, sensors, and microcontrollers (Raspberry Pi). Learn how these components work and how to assemble them into a functioning robot.
  • Master Electronics and Circuitry: Develop skills in basic electronics, including understanding circuits, power management, and building with breadboards. Progress to soldering components for custom circuits.
  • Integrate Sensors and Advanced Hardware: Learn to wire and program sensors like ultrasonic and IR to create responsive robotic actions. Work with more advanced hardware like CAD-designed parts and 3D-printed components.

The camp concludes with a Final Hardware Project, where students will design, build, and present their robots. Whether constructing a fully autonomous robot or a remote-controlled device, students will demonstrate their ability to integrate hardware and troubleshoot real-world challenges.
